BIBM (from the French acronym "Bureau International du Béton Manufacturé") is the European Federation for Precast Concrete. The association was founded in Brussels on 15th October 1954 following the 1st International Congress of the Precast Concrete Industry.
It gathers together 16 full members (national associations of precast concrete, regional/product group associations and companies). The sector employs 210, 000 people in 8,000 production plants across Europe, generating a turnover of more than 30 billion euros.
BIBM represents and defends the interests of the Precast Concrete Industry at European and international levels. It provides the major Precast Concrete Industry platform dealing with European-wide issues through a network of professionals, experts and industrialists that altogether promote the dissemination of their experience and information on the progress of the industry and try to improve Precast Concrete's image.
